Our Recycling Program
As the leader in the Bone Growth Stimulation market, we are committed to providing innovative recycling solutions to reduce our environmental impact in order to make a difference as a global citizen.
Did You Know You Can Recycle the Following Devices?
The materials and components in your bone growth therapy device can be recycled for
non-medical use after the device is sent to our recycling partners. When you use our free recycling program, you help reduce the environmental impact. That’s something we can all feel good about!
Here’s How to Recycle Your Device After Use
Label On Box
To help reduce waste, Orthofix is happy to help you recycle your bone growth therapy device after your treatment is complete and your physician has advised you to discontinue use. Please contact Patient Services at 800-535-4492 for further information on our free recycling program. We’ll provide you with a pre-paid return label so that your device can be recycled. All you have to do is box up the device (you can even use the original box we shipped to you), attach the pre-paid return label, and mail the box. It’s that simple!
If you choose not to recycle your bone growth therapy device, you may dispose of the device according to your local governing guidelines. But we strongly encourage you to take advantage of our free recycling program, so we can work together and limit the amount of waste. Let’s make a difference together!
