Reduce Medical Device and Equipment Waste
To help reduce waste, Orthofix is happy to help you recycle your bone growth therapy device after your treatment is complete and your physician has advised you to discontinue use. Please contact Patient Services at 800-535-4492 for further information on our free recycling program. We’ll provide you with a pre-paid return label so that your device can be recycled. All you have to do is box up the device (you can even use the original box we shipped to you), attach the pre-paid return label, and mail the box. It’s that simple!
If you choose not to recycle your bone growth therapy device, you may dispose of the device according to your local governing guidelines. But we strongly encourage you to take advantage of our free recycling program, so we can work together and limit the amount of waste. Let’s make a difference together!
